LifeSource Direct Advances Online Term Life Insurance Quotes Tool for New Year?s Financial Planning

Saturday, January 12th, 2013

Boise Idaho (PRWEB) January 09, 2013

LifeSource Direct, a direct to consumer term life insurance company, announced today an improved and updated version of its popular online term life insurance quotes tool for medical and no medical insurance issue. In time for the upcoming tax and financial planning season (January to April), the improved interface and additional life insurance underwriters allow users to get real time term life insurance quotes with options for no medical exam underwriting or medical based underwriting.

Being able to budget and plan for a variety of term life insurance options in real time without having to go through lengthy phone interviews, emails or other means to get quotes was the design goals of the new improvements. Internet users can visit the LifeSource Direct home page for term life insurance quotes or go directly to the no medical term life insurance quotes page. With basic profile information, the user can work on pricing options ranging from 10 to 30 year terms, and coverage amounts of $ 50,000 to $ 5 million for medical exam insurance and $ 50,000 to $ 350,000 for no medical exam insurance*.

Providing real time quotes allows the home and business financial planner to upgrade their term life insurance portfolio to meet the ongoing changes in life. These insurance changes might include expenditure reductions or increases due to budget or income changes, marriage, the birth of a child, addiditon of key man insurance to protect business assets, or planning for a dependant in the event of the loss of an income provider. As the economy continues in flux due to fiscal cliff concerns, or Europe?s financial recovery, the improved term insurance quote tool from LifeSource Direct allows individuals to stay informed about their insurance costs and coverage options.

In addition, LifeSource Direct has made application changes to streamline the no medical term life insurance delivery process. As no medical insurance does not require a medical exam to issue a term life insurance policy, the application process can now be completed online through a confidential application and questionnaire. The result is that no medical term life insurance can be issued in less the twenty-four hours with a credit card, giving buyers immediate policies without having to wait weeks.

A Life Saved; A Life Celebrated: Chicago Police Officer Honored Guest for Advocate Day at Chicago Bears Game

Wednesday, December 12th, 2012

Oak Brook, Illinois (PRWEB) December 01, 2012

A Chicago police officer who was shot in the chest in the line of duty and whose life was saved due to the efforts of emergency teams at two hospitals within the Advocate Health Care system will join in activities preceding the Dec. 2 Chicago Bears home game as a special guest of Advocate.

Officer Del Pearson will participate in the coin toss prior to the Chicago Bears-Seattle Seahawks game during Advocate Day at Soldier Field. Advocate Health Care is a sponsor of the Chicago Bears.

Joining Pearson at Advocate Day festivities will be Mary Ann Brooks, RN, of Oak Forest, Ill. She was the officer?s primary critical care nurse during his five days of hospitalization in intensive care at Advocate Christ Medical Center, 4440 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn, last March. Top police officials frequently praised Brooks for the compassionate way in which she cared for and met everyone?s needs: the wounded officer, his family, and the many fellow officers who visited with him during his time at the hospital.

Officer Pearson lost nearly three-quarters of his blood at the crime scene when a bullet ripped into the left side of his chest just above his chest protector and pierced an artery under his collarbone. He was initially rushed by a fellow officer to Advocate Trinity Hospital, 2320 E. 93rd St., Chicago, where an emergency team there provided initial treatment and prepared him for immediate transport to Christ Medical Center?s Level I trauma center. At Christ Medical Center, he underwent five-and-a-half hours of emergency surgery to repair the artery.

?What stands out in this case is that a life was saved because two hospitals within the Advocate system played such an integral part to provide the necessary emergency care. We are honored to have Officer Pearson join us today,? said Jim Skogsbergh, president and CEO of Advocate Health Care.
