During his presentation, LTC Khan spoke about the relations between the U.S. and Pakistan.

?We consider ourselves very fortunate to have had LTC Khan join us,? said Joseph McGrath, President of Grantham University. ?His insights into relations between the United States and Pakistan provided a deeper perspective for our staff. I think we all walked out of our meeting feeling as though we added a great deal to our base of knowledge.?

LTC Khan is presently attending the U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies at Fort Leavenworth. In December, he will return to Pakistan to take Command of an Infantry Battalion.

LTC Khan attended basic military training at Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul, and subsequently was selected to attend the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst, United Kingdom. He began his career in the Infantry in April 1995 and has held various command, staff, and instructional assignments. LTC Khan has also been an instructor, as well as the Adjutant, at the Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul.

LTC Khan deployed twice to the Siachen Glacier along the Line of Actual Contact with India and spent a year and a half long deployment on a United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Sierra Leone, West Africa. He is a graduate of Pakistan Army Command and Staff College, Quetta and U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth.
