Gauri reminisces how Rajrani and Kalki Devi had insulted her and how she has been rendered homeless. The stress takes its toll on Gauri’s health and she faints. Rudra takes Gauri to a road side food stall and tries to make her happy. Rudra wants to take Gauri to his house, but Gauri refuses. Meanwhile, at home Kalki Devi (Gauri’s grandmother) feels guilty for throwing Gauri out of the house and cries wondering where she must have gone so late at night. Sunehri and Umang go out on the streets looking for Gauri but they fail to find her. Sunehri goes to the shop and finds a letter written by Gauri in which she has asked her not to worry about her. Sunehri faints outside the shop while Umang cries for help. Gauri goes to Jhumroo and tells him about her plight and both cry while hugging each other.

Padma comes to the nursing home to visit Simran. Both are happy to see each other. Manas suggests to Padma to be supportive of Simran. Urmila and Manas have a confrontation because he refuses to go to the US for a job. Later, Manas s old friend Ashwin offers him a lucrative job in his upcoming nursing clinic but he refuses even that. This makes Urmila very angry. Abhimanyu s mother gets furious when Simran rearranges the house.

Abhimanyu explains to his mother that he went to the nursing home willingly despite Simran asking him not to, so it isn t her fault at all. Abhimanyu gets irritated when Simran is grateful only to Manas for salvaging the crisis at the nursing home. Ashwin visits Urmila again. Ashwin puts forth a job offer to her. She says that she d ask Manas first. She informs Manas about taking up a job. Saurabh phones Manas and informs him that his wife is not well. Manas conveys the news to Simran. Simran is stopped by Saurabh from meeting Padma but she defies him.
